Skilled Nursing Services
Our trained licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants provide 24-hour care under the supervision of our Director of Nursing, ensuring that individual medical problems and physical needs are met in a caring and compassionate manner.
The skilled nursing services at Deltona Health Care are provided to clients following a stay in the hospital usually for cardiac care, orthopedic surgery, or a serious illness. Using an interdisciplinary tea approach under the direction of a physician, a comprehensive plan of care is developed with short and long-term goals to regain the highest level of wellness.
Our sub acute services include but are not limited to:

* Infusion (IV) therapy
* Respiratory services including tracheotomy management
* Pain management
* Ostomy care
* Total parental nutrition
* Tube feeding
* Oxygen therapy
* Urinary catheterization
* Post surgery care
* Diagnostic services
* Lab management
* Podiatry services
* Assisting with scheduling and transporting to medical appointments
* Hospice sercives and palliative care
* Continence improvement
* Nurse practitioner services
We are comprised of a highly skilled staff of doctors, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, social workers, dieticians, and recreational personnel. We understand how difficult it can be to entrust you loved one to the care of others and we want you to know that from the first day a client arrives at Deltona Health Care, he or she is welcomed, and treated with respect and made to feel at home.
Deltona Health Care is a 120 bed short-term and long-term care facility located at the corner of Providence and Elkcam Boulevard. We offer a wide range of rehabilitative services, skilled nursing services, respite, and long-term care. Our focus is "hands-on" rehabilitation. Our physical and occupational therapy is outcome-oriented, allowing clients to return to the community as quickly as possible. For long-term residents we strive to help them become more enabled as their stay progresses so that they may achieve an optimum level of independence.
