The goal of Guardian Care's Nursing & Rehabilitation staff is to help each resident attain and maintain self control over their lives as long as possible. In giving care to the residents, each person's rights and dignity is preserved and respected. Our RNs, LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants deliver round-the-clock quality care. Services are monitored by RNs 24 hours a day. State licensed and registered Occupational and Physical Therapists hold specialty certification in Neurodevelopmental training and are available to regain activities of daily living skills.
We listen to resident's preferences and goals and incorporate these desires into their Plan-of-Care. Our interdisciplinary team meets weekly to update the Plan-of-Care and suggest strategies for improvement. The team consists of — doctors, nurses, Social Worker, Activites Director,
Dietician, resident and family member. We encourage families to participate in the Plan-of-Care for their loved ones.
Alzheimer's Program
Guardian Care is a gated facility and offers a secure environment for our many Alzheimer's residents. We fill each day with meaningful programs in a supportive and loving setting. Our Alzheimer's program is structured to meet the Activities of Daily Living (ADL) activities of the resident that includes games and exercises that enhance their ADL abilities. This program runs seven days a week.
