Welcome to Heartland Health Care Center - Lauderhill, Broward County's only skilled nursing facility dedicated solely to serving the Alzheimer's/Dementia population. Centrally located off Oakland Park Boulevard, Heartland offers a home-like atmosphere that includes visiting animals, such as dogs, cats, birds, ponies and llamas. We also offers specialized Alzheimer's/Dementia programming for all cognitive levels, including rehabilitation services conducted by staff with specialized training for memory impaired individuals. Heartland - Lauderhill hosts local Alzheimer's Support groups as well as family/caregiver support groups, and is an active voice in the community for education and resourcing with Alzheimer/Dementia services.
