The Fleet Landing Health & Rehabilitation Center comprises 80 beds staffed by compassionate, licensed nurses and care providers. They are available 24 hours a day for those needing either short-term rehabilitative services following an operation, injury or illness — or those requiring long-term skilled, custodial or memory support services.
At The Health Center, individuals enjoy all the comforts of home — including a tastefully appointed room and nutritionally balanced meals. Our active recreation program is enhanced by pet visitation, music appreciation and many other creative activities. We also facilitate one-on-one and group interaction, family roundtables and planned outings. Religious services are offered on-site and arranged transportation is available to local houses of worship.
Short-Term Rehab
Fleet Landing’s rehabilitation team strives to help you return home as quickly as possible by helping you reach the highest level of functional skills and independence possible. Individualized attention begins the moment you arrive. You and your family are an important part of the team in identifying your specific health care needs and establishing achievable goals. Our therapists are skilled in the most advanced techniques of physical, occupational, memory/cognitive and speech therapies – and they apply these skills to your individual plan of care. Memory Support Services Memory Support provides all the medical care and amenities of The Health Center in addition to services designed specifically for those with Alzheimer’s–type dementia or other memory impairments. Staffed by experienced professionals who are trained to care for individuals with memory and cognitive impairments, this secure area is supervised by licensed nurses 24 hours a day. Interdisciplinary care plans — including structured daily recreation — are developed for each individual. Support group activities for caregivers are also offered.
The Health Center is a Medicare certified facility. We do not participate in the Medicaid program.
