Homebound individuals and patients recovering from hospitalization want to be independent and near their loved ones in familiar surroundings. Wuesthoff Homecare offers many types of skilled nursing and therapy services in the comfort of a patient's home. It can often provide a bridge between hospitalization and independence.
To be eligible for services, all treatment must be prescribed by the physician responsible for the patient's medical care. It is not necessary for the patient to be hospitalized prior to receiving services. For example, a person who learns he is diabetic and must take insulin may be referred to Wuesthoff Brevard Homecare. by his physician to receive education at home about diabetes and how to manage the medication.
Wuesthoff Homecare employs registered nurses; licensed practical nurses; home health aides; social workers and physical, occupational and speech therapists who deliver comprehensive care under the direction of the patient's physician. Professional staff are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Skilled services are covered at 100 percent for patients who meet Medicare criteria. Payment for patients without Medicare may be arranged through direct payment or private insurance. Wuesthoff Homecare will process all insurance and initiate Medicare and Medicaid claims for patients.
